Yahoo Finance changed its web page formats last week (again) and the data isn't copyable, downloadable, or scrapeable, since the data is apparently loaded indirectly. (I can see it in the debugger.)
The Yahoo Finance API doesn't currently return option data for a single option symbol, much less tables of or for expiration dates, nor apparently does YQL.
Has anyone successfully downloaded or scraped Options data from Yahoo finance in the past week? If so, how?

I have found an API that works since the change in Yahoo Finance. I'm still trying to find any clues to other APIs available.
Here's the base call. The {} is for either the number 1 or 2 as both work: query{}.finance.yahoo.com/v7/finance/
Now, as @Yago notes, you can append chart/ and you can also append options/. I'm looking for other options to append. How to import stock data from yahoo Finance into Excel using a macro?

I would have the following question. I would like to execute some stock simulations using excel and the data one can find in Yahoo finance. As an example I will be using this data:

I know that Yahoo finance does allow me to download their data in an Excel form, but my aims are somewhat more ambitious than that or rather have more automation in mind. What I would like to do is to simply extract the data directly from the website into excel without downloading the data itself in excel form. What I did try is to use 'use Data from Web' in order to download the table, but for some reason my Excel (2010), cannot detect the table. It might have something to do with the new design of the Website of Yahoo, as I see on numerous you tube videos, that using this means of importing data was possible for older versions of yahoos website.

Now can someone propose an alternative solution as to how to do this (writing excel macros is within my ability, but this is another level that I yet have to reach). e.g. a solution would be an Excel macro that would either download the data in excel form then open the document copy the data from it into the existing sheet and then delete the one that was downloaded (I never used VBA in an environment that would leave the constraints of Excel itself as such I do not know if that is possible). The most important question would be how to get the data from the table in the link above into an Excel sheet by 'calling' it via a macro command.
